Gyro-Stabilized Gimbal AG-6-1

Gyro-Stabilized Gimbal AG-6-1 is a single-sensor electro-optical system designed for installation on manned and unmanned aerial vehicles.

Advantages

  • Vision-based navigation (1 Hz navigation data output)
  • Passive system (no emissions, cannot be jammed or interfered with)
  • Lightweight, compact and low power consumption
  • Accurate enough to complete the mission when GPS is unavailable
  • Can be adapted to warn about GPS spoofing attacks

Vision-based navigation

  • The computer vision-based non-GNSS (GPS-free) navigation system replaces traditional GPS and instead uses computer vision and sensor technologies for high-precision and reliable navigation
  • Using computer vision, sensor fusion and SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) technology, this system offers a new way of navigation in environments where GPS is absent or unavailable. This is an important step towards precise, autonomous and real-time navigation

Object tracking and recognition

  • The system performs object recognition using a machine learning algorithm trained on a dataset of 80,000 samples. It is capable of identifying objects as small as 16x16 pixels even in challenging conditions, achieving an average confidence score of 0.88
  • The application, using built-in video processors, is an object tracking program that applies computer vision technologies for real-time object tracking and monitoring. It runs on single-board computers such as Raspberry Pi and Orange Pi
